Configuring your Exchange account in the Mail app for Windows 10

step 1 : Add the account
  • When you open the app for the first time : A window will appear, asking you to Add account.

  • If an account has already been set up : click on Accounts in the menu bar to the left, then on Add account in the menu that pops up on the right.

    1. Click on Advanced settings
    2. Select Exchange ActiveSync as the account type.
    3. Enter Exchange Account information, then click Sign in.
      • Email address : Enter your full email address. EX: userid@isu.edu.tw
      • Password : Enter the password for your email address.
      • User name : Enter your full email address. EX: userid@isu.edu.tw
      • Domain : Leave this field blank.
      • Server : Enter exchmail.isu.edu.tw.
      • This server requires a secure connection (SSL) : You must leave this box ticked.
      • Account name : Enter a name to identify the email account.
    4. Click on Done
    step 3
    Click Go to inbox.
    step 4 : Change mailbox sync setting
    1. Click on Settings in the menu bar to the left.
    2. Select Manage account in the menu that pops up on the right.
    3. Select email account to modify.
    4. Select Change mailbox sync settings.
    5. Select Download new content and modify. Default vaule is based on my usage.
    6. Select Download email form and modify. Default vaule is the last month.
    7. Click on Done.
    8. Click on Save.
